This is painting #2 in a series I have called "Grounded". I have fallen in love with the rustic value of old boats that have been left behind and forgotten.
Imagination & Creativity see what can be from what there is! So much detail and emotion can be portrayed on a piece of paper by the use of a simple pencil...adding color makes it absolutely magical! It was when I became an "empty nester" that I discovered the time to enter the creative side of my brain and let it emerge. It has been a wonderful time of discovery and with the encouragement of family and friends I have ventured out to share my art with others.
