The Olympic Mountain range in Washington state is truly a beautiful wonder to see. They are located in the Olympic National Park in the upper left of Washington State known as the Olympic Peninsula. You can travel from Port Angeles up to the top of Hurricane Ridge to see it in all its splendor. One of my favorite things to capture in watercolor is natures beauty here in the Pacific Northwest. This view is looking North-East where Port Townsend, the Strait of Juan de Fuca, Glacier Peak, the Cascades, Blue Mountain, Deer Park & Morse Creek can be spied!

Imagination & Creativity see what can be from what there is! So much detail and emotion can be portrayed on a piece of paper by the use of a simple pencil...adding color makes it absolutely magical! It was when I became an "empty nester" that I discovered the time to enter the creative side of my brain and let it emerge. It has been a wonderful time of discovery and with the encouragement of family and friends I have ventured out to share my art with others.
