I've hiked to Marymere Falls in the Olympic National Park at least 20 times in my lifetime and it never ceases to thrill and astound me with its beauty. People from all over the world walk the trail to view the Falls and the mossy forest. I often take for granted what I have here in my own backyard that so many travel so far to experience! This painting is one in many of my quest to paint the great Olympic Peninsula as part of "theOP-Olympic Peninsula". Enjoy!

Imagination & Creativity see what can be from what there is! So much detail and emotion can be portrayed on a piece of paper by the use of a simple pencil...adding color makes it absolutely magical! It was when I became an "empty nester" that I discovered the time to enter the creative side of my brain and let it emerge. It has been a wonderful time of discovery and with the encouragement of family and friends I have ventured out to share my art with others.
